Drivers Age
The minimum driver’s age is 24 years and the maximum driver’s age is 70 years.
No young or senior driver fees apply.
Driver’s License
The driver must have at least 5 years of driving experience and a valid license that remains valid throughout the rental period. An international driving license is required if the domestic license is not in the Roman or English alphabet. Licenses from the US, Canada, and Australia are accepted without IDL.
At the time of pick-up, the renter must present a valid passport with visa, a valid driving license, and provide accommodation details for the rental period.
Insurance Coverage
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
It is included in your rental amount.
It limits the client's financial responsibility for damage of the vehicle to the excess amount, which ranges from USD 1,200 to USD 4,500 depending on the car category.
Theft Waiver (THW)
It is included in your rental amount.
It limits the client's financial responsibility for loss or theft of the vehicle to the excess amount, which ranges from USD 1,200 to USD 4,500 depending on the car category.
Third Party Liability
It is included in your rental amount.
This coverage meets the minimum legal requirements in Kenya and provides protection for damages or injuries caused to third parties, covering liability for death, bodily injury, or damage to third-party property up to KSh 3 million.
Excess Reduction
Additional insurance options to lower or remove the excess are not available.
Please Note:
1. A valid Police report is mandatory, in case of an incident/ accident / damage or theft. The customer must immediately inform the rental desk about the incident.
2. Any damage due to driver negligence or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or any other controlled substances is not covered by insurance.
3. Insurance doesn’t cover Windows and mirrors, wheels and tire, undercarriage, engine, the car’s interior, personal belongings, lost keys, extras such as GPS or child seats.
Other fee:
1. An Airport Fee of USD 30 is not included in the rental price and will be added at the rental desk.
2. A Vehicle Monitoring Fee is included in the rental price.
3. If the vehicle keys are lost or stolen, a fee of USD 50 will apply.
4. In case of wrong fuel, a fee of USD 3000 will apply.
5. If car is returned dirty, a charge of USD 50 will apply depending on the level of cleaning required.
6. Smoking in the car is prohibited, and if Client smoke in the car a fee of USD 500 will apply.
7. Customers are responsible for the airport parking fees.
Breakdown Assistance
Breakdown assistance is available free of charge.
If assistance is required due to customers fault, the customer will be responsible for all related damage costs. Relevant contact details and roadside assistance procedures will be given prior to the commencement of the hire.
Off-road driving
Off-road driving is strictly prohibited. The vehicle may only be used on paved, public roads. Any damage resulting from off-road use will not be covered by insurance and will be fully charged to the customer.
Fuel Policy
Full to Full.
The client must return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel provided at the time of check out. If the fuel tank is not returned at the same level, a fee of USUSD 25 plus USUSD 20 per ¼ tank will apply.
Mileage Policy
Unlimited Mileage.
Cross Border Travel
Cross-border travel is allowed to Uganda and Tanzania for a fee of USUSD300.
Taking the vehicle on a ferry is strictly prohibited.
VAT
VAT is included in the rental price.
Payment Methods and Deposit
Visa, Mastercard, and American Express are accepted for rental payments at the desk, along with debit cards. Payments can also be made via direct wire transfer or through digital wallets using our provider, PesaPal Limited.
Cash is not accepted under any circumstances.
For the security deposit, only a credit card in the main driver’s name is accepted. A deposit ranging from USD 600 to 1000 will be held at the time of pick-up.
Delivery and Collection
Available upon request and must be arranged in advance charges apply and range between 30 USD to 300 USD, depending on the distance.
Cross Locations Rentals
Cross Locations drop-off is available upon request and the fee varies from USD250 to USD300 depending on the vehicle category.
Out of Hours
Out-of-hours service is available for a USD25 fee, applicable for both pick-ups and drop-offs at any time.
Grace Period
Pick-up: 2-hour grace period from the schedule time of pickup is allowed. If the customer comes to pick up the vehicle after the grace period the booking will be considered as "No-show" or car will be provided depending on availability.
Return: 2-hour grace period is for returning vehicles. If the customer comes to return the vehicle after the grace period, one day extra charge will be applied.
Extras
Confirmation of Special Equipment’s depends upon the availability at the rental desk.
